Old Paradigm versus the New Paradigm
Paradigm: model, standard.
Several years ago I wrote the following list of comparisons between the old and new paradigm of living. In order for our world to change we need to create a critical mass, of those willing to shift their reality, and truly live in the New Paradigm. We are now living in the Aquarian Age having transitioned out of the Piscean Age. I still encounter individuals who find it hard to shift their thinking, thus they remain victims and continue to hold others responsible for their lot in life. It can be challenging to make the switch and I encourage finding a mentor to help you to do that. I can help, I am here to help!
In the old paradigm we felt ashamed and subscribed to antiquated ideas brought forward from our ancestry about sin – we therefore deemed ourselves unworthy, undesirable and unlovable. We bowed to a wrathful, vengeful and punishing God and we felt victimized and futile. We pointed fingers and blamed others for our lot in life. As a result we closed our hearts and forgot who we are.
In the new paradigm we cease all self-punishment and self-denigration. we release judgment, blame and resentment. We forgive all past actions – ours and others’ and choose compassion, acceptance and self-love. Above all else, we accept responsibility for our lives, our thoughts and our actions. We remember who we are and move into co-creatorship and co-operation with Spirit/Source/God.
In the old paradigm we believed in mistakes, accidents and fate. We felt regretful and resentful. Anger and bitterness ruled as we separated from others causing us to feel lonely and isolated.
In the new paradigm we believe in the higher purpose of all events and the synchronized co-incidence of each occurrence. We trust in Divine timing and release the conditioning of our limited ego. We open to flow and the concept of effortlessness as we stay focused on the present moment.
In the old paradigm we were ruled by fear, we believed in and therefore manifested lack and limitation thereby creating the need for competition and greed.
In the new paradigm we trust that this is an abundant Universe and that there is enough for all given that the infinite abundance is wisely distributed.
We move through fear into trust that we are loved, supported and protected.
We trust we are worthy, deserving and as such we become willing to be all we were meant to be, and to receive the love from others as we choose to deeply love ourselves.
