I created this list many years ago –
Since then, I’ve had the chance to really check it out. My personal life experiences has taken me back to the list time and time again. And I can assure you that it is true!
It sounds simple and it is – IF you follow the process.
I created little phrases to explain the meaning of the words and it behooves us to take a few moments and really check ourselves to FEEL the truth within. In those cases where you don’t feel you can “get there,” you may need some help to more deeply explore where you’re getting held up. We all need what I call hand-holding!
The Seven Steps to Emotional Freedom:
ACCEPTANCE:
It is as it is. “I come into the present and release my resistance.”
RESPONSIBILITY:
I am the Captain of my ship. I co-created the situation for a purpose which I choose to recognize.
WORTHINESS:
I believe that God/Source loves me fully. I wouldn’t be here otherwise.
UNDERSTANDING:
I choose to look at the HIGHER PURPOSE and I’m working towards understanding that.
TRUSTING:
I trust that everything is as it should be.
FORGIVENESS:
As I understand the Higher Purpose and the gifts in this experience I can forgive myself, others and the whole scenario.
GRATITUDE:
How perfect was this opportunity was to move towards freedom.
If you feel resistance, skepticism or judgment to any of these steps, it reflects something inside that is programmed against getting free.
